Dear GEMS Parents and Students,
Welcome to Gardendale Elementary Magnet
School. We are proud to have earned an “A” again for the 6th
year in a row on the governor’s A+ Recognition Report Card. Our teachers,
parents and community members should be exceptionally proud of themselves
and our students for such an outstanding performance.
At Gardendale we believe that quality
education is the result of a collaborative effort of educators, parents,
children and the community. I want to encourage you, as parents, to
continue to be involved in the many activities and programs that are
happening on campus everyday. Not only will you be achieving credit toward
your parent volunteer hours, but you will be contributing to your child’s
educational experiences.
Make sure you read the GEMS Journal which
comes out each Monday so that you will stay informed of coming events. It
is also available for download on the

to find all our events and fieldtrips posted on the Master Calendar.
