Our unique calendar, with four seasonal breaks during the year,
supports a curriculum immersed in real-world experiences and problem
solving. GEMS parents are
noted for their devoted support both in their volunteer hours and as
partners in the life skills and life-long guidelines that constitute our
character education, a pioneer program in the county.
Our teachers,
whose intense training is centered on what neuroscience reports on how the
brain best learns, believe the shortest path to the brain is the heart.
